SUGGESTED USES

We usually tell people that it's not a put-on-your-pancakes kind of syrup (although you might like that).

Birch syrup is very sweet, and the flavor is complex, with hints of fruit,

caramel, and molasses. It’s great:

  • ❖  As a glaze on salmon, pork or steak

  • ❖  On ice cream

  • ❖  In salad dressing

  • ❖  As a glaze on roasted or grilled vegetables

  • ❖  Drizzled on cheese

  • ❖  Added to seltzer water it makes a delicious drink that tastes like cream soda

  • ❖  In tea or coffee

  • ❖  In cocktails
